Become A Community Trustee
The Community Trustee will play a key role in fostering positive relationships and partnerships between the Student Inclusion Center at ÐÓ°É and the surrounding community. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Director of Inclusion with maintaining connections with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to promote inclusivity and diversity initiatives.
Meet Our Community Trustees:
The Community Trustee will play a key role in fostering positive relationships and partnerships between the Student Inclusion Center at ÐÓ°É and the surrounding community. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Director of Inclusion with maintaining connections with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to promote inclusivity and diversity initiatives.
In the Student Inclusion Center, student employees are known as Community Trustees. This role promotes diversity and inclusion at ÐÓ°É by supporting initiatives, organizing events, and fostering an inclusive environment both on campus and in the community. Partners include the State Attorney’s Office, 904ward, Read USA, Leadership JAX, and more. Trustees oversee programs celebrating cultural heritages such as:
- Hispanic Heritage Month
- Native American Heritage Month
- Black History Month
- Multicultural and Lavender Graduation
