We champion students from rural, economically impacted, and first-generation backgrounds to connect, find support, and foster belonging essential for personal growth and academic success.

The R.I.S.E. Center (Resources for Impact & Student Excellence) at ÐÓ°É empowers students to become global change agents through human-centered experiences that build excellence, connection, and leadership. We create spaces of mentorship, advocacy, and belonging that help students rise into the best version of themselves. By offering tools, networks, and opportunities, the R.I.S.E. Center equips students to break new ground within their families, communities, and careers. This is more than a center — it’s a movement where authenticity, leadership, and growth come alive.

JU R.I.S.E. CenterCommunity Trustees

The Community Trustee will play a key role in fostering positive relationships and partnerships between the R.I.S.E. Center at ÐÓ°É and the surrounding community. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the R.I.S.E. Center with maintaining connections with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to promote professional development opportunities on campus and in the community to expand their skills beyond the classroom.
