Professional Information:

Dr. Capeci is a certified speech-language pathologist with extensive experience in school-based practice, higher education, leadership, and clinical supervision. She has worked in school systems, early intervention, private practice, and university clinical education, supervising hundreds of speech-language pathologists and graduate clinicians across a variety of settings.

Dr. Capeci’s scholarly and professional work focuses on improving systems that support school-based speech-language pathologists, including job satisfaction, mentorship, supervision models, trauma-informed care, and resilience in practice. She has contributed extensively to professional development through conference presentations, community education, and innovative clinical programming.  She is committed to advancing equitable, evidence-based practices that support both clinicians and the populations they serve.
